PROGRAMS + INITIATIVES
The Nebinger PTA is dedicated to enhancing the academic experience of Nebinger students by supporting a range of programs, with a focus on clubs in the arts and sciences. Through funding and volunteer engagement, we strive to cultivate initiatives that enrich student learning, while ensuring that our established programs continue to evolve and meet the dynamic needs of our school community.
Drama Club
Our fantastic art teacher, Ms. Grace, runs the Drama Club with support from drama teaching artists. Each year, the students perform original takes on well-loved stories, like a Punk Rock Peter Pan, a body-positive Little Mermaid, and a twist on Aladdin with the city as the backdrop. The PTA has committed $3,000 of our budget towards the cost of hiring the teaching artists who help our students shine like the stars they are!
Field Trip Funding
The PTA has committed $4,500 of our budget specifically for transportation for field trips. We feel that students in all grades should have access to the enriching trips our teachers organize!
School + Community Events
Each school year, we support school events like the annual Welcome Back Night, Fall Fest, and Back to School Night. We also host Movie Nights throughout the year that are free and open to the community. The PTA is committed to fostering a welcoming environment for all Nebinger families. To support these events, the PTA provides $3,500 in funding each year.
Student Activities
The PTA committed $5,900 of our budget towards student activities in 2025-26. This supports events like our annual, school-wide Field Day (lovingly referred to as the Nebinger Olympics!), graduation celebrations for Kindergarten and 8th grade, and the Science Olympiad.
Teacher Support
The PTA hosts teacher appreciation breakfasts throughout the school year, provides direct funding towards teachers' project ideas with the PTA Classroom Fund, and shows our dedicated faculty extra love during Teacher Appreciation Week. The PTA always looks for ways to give back to those who make Nebinger such an incredible school for our children! The PTA provides $5,000 in funding to support the incredible Nebinger faculty!
